the unexploited wilderness of Tanzania lies within the southern part for
the country.
Among the southern parks is the Selous Game Reserve. This is the Africa’s largest unexploited game reserve and the largest protected wet wilderness area in the world. Udzungwa Mountains National Park
is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique
exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range
of forest. It’s the place to see diurnal Sanje Mangabey, new discovered
monkey and Iringa red Columbus Monkey, and two nocturnal Matundu dwarf
Galago and Mountain dwarf Galago among a host of other primate, birdlife
and wildlife. Saadan National Park
is where the beach meets the bush and is the youngest national park.
There are plenty of hippos, crocodiles and birds in the Wami River which
borders this park in the South. A long beach stretches east where one
can enjoy some beautiful sunrises.
In addition, we have the Western circuits. Kitavi National park is an untraveled and seldom visited. Katavi is a
true wilderness, providing the few intrepid souls who make it there with
a thrilling taste of Africa as it must have been a century ago. Mahale
National Park is where you can see chimpanzees in
their natural habitat at Gombe Stream or Mahale Mountains and trek
through breathtaking forests. Ruaha National Park is the largest Elephant sanctuary in
Tanzania central southern part.
