Meru, Sweetwaters, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara

Day 1 Meru NP(LD)

Drive round the east side of Mt Kenya en route to Meru National Park. Overnight: Lodge / Camp

Day 2 Meru NP (BLD)

A full day game driving in the Park. Overnight: Lodge / Camp

Day 3 Sweetwaters (BLD)

Depart after breakfast, driving west around Mt Kenya passing through Nanyuki to Sweetwaters Private Game Sanctuary and Camp. Afternoon and night game drives. Overnight: Lodge / Camp (230 kms, 4 hrs)

Day 4 Lake Nakuru (BLD)

After breakfast, drive through the Sanctuary into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lion Hill Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Park which is the seasonal home to millions of flamingo. Overnight: Lodge / Camp (190 kms, 2 3/4 hrs)

Day 5 Masai Mara (BLD)

Departing after breakfast, visit the Maasai Colours for a short introduction to the Maasai tribe, then drive on to the Masai Mara for lunch. Enjoy an evening game drive. Overnight: Lodge / Camp (300 kms, 6 hrs)

Day 6 Masai Mara (BLD)

A full day game driving in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, either returning to the camp for lunch or taking a picnic. Overnight: Lodge / Camp

Day7 Nairobi (B)

After breakfast transfer to the air strip for the scheduled flight, arriving in Nairobi before lunch.
