Kenya and Africa at large. Amboseli means "Salty Dust" in the Maasai
language. Tsavo West National Park
is the Land of Lava, springs and while at it, you will have the
opportunity to visit the site where Man-eaters of Tsavo used to waylay
the rail workers. The Mzima spring is an oasis at the heart of Tsavo
West National Park. visitors have a chance to witness one of Africa’s
most beautiful and diverse wildernesses; with open plains, dense bush

offers the complete wilderness experience. Meru National Park attained

This is the home of Else & Pippa. Else was a lioness & Pippa a
cheetah. Meru National Park is noted for its fauna and natural beauty.

Aberdare National Park
is one of the most thrilling Kenya national parks. With an incredibly

Rift Valley
Lakes: The Kenyan Rift Valley is a section of the 6,000km Great Rift
Valley which stretches from the Dead Sea in the Middle East all the way
to Mozambique. It is one of Africa’s defining geographical features.
There are eight Rift Valley Lakes in Kenya of which 3 are fresh water and the rest alkaline. These lakes are Lake Turkana,Lake Logipi,Lake Baringo & Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita , Lake Naivasha and Lake Magadi.
These lakes reveal not only a vast wealth of bird-life (over 400
species on Baringo alone) but also hippo, crocodile and near Lake
Nakuru, the rhino sanctuary.
The rugged countryside surrounding
the lakes is equally spectacular. Hill walking up peaks such as Mt.
Longonot will afford the energetic traveller marvellous views over the
lakes. In and around the Rift Valley Lakes Game drives and walking
safaris are possible, along with boat trips, fishing and a variety of
water activities. Some of the lakes are surrounded by excellent hiking
routes.
